The Los Angeles-based vocalist known as Bambina has only officially been releasing music for a few years, with her aptly named Berth (2016-2018) EP debuting last year. Although relatively new to the scene, her earnest songwriting and ethereal vocals have made her a rising standout in the LA scene. Her latest offering is a tender single and visual entitled “I’ll Be Your Guy” featuring LA-based indie-soul crooner and comedian Gabriel Sayer. The song is an earnest exploration of fluidity with Bambina subverting the traditional gender norms in order to make her lover happy; “If you’re into boys now / then I’ll be your guy if you think it’s time/ Give me a try?”
