Born in the Bronx to immigrant parents from El Salvador and the Dominican Republic, GAWVI is dedicated to using his music to bring people together. Influenced by Kanye West’s “The College Dropout,” GAWVI transitioned from working behind the scenes to becoming a prominent figure in the music industry. With over 20 years of experience, he attributes his success to local artist Danny, which led to collaborations with artists like Lecrae, establishing his place in the music world.
