With “Orbital Resonance”, the artistic inventor and musical mastermind has succeeded in creating a mesmerizingly otherworldly musical affair. Layered slow-burning colorful synths and reflective guitar loops as well as deep rhythms complete this sonic dream. According to the press release, the track was recorded during a show at Pete’s Candy Store in Brooklyn on February 12 this year and is meant as a moment of rest and reflection from the intensity of the album. The melodies are made through the music, sounding like waves colliding into a breaking point, then releasing for a unique listen. The song is shared alongside a music visualizer made by Hector Pascal. Featuring a mirage of colors and patterns, the video is a perfect compliment to the cinematic musical journey.
5thPlanet first began sharing music in 2016. Since then, the prolific musician has released a handful of EPs and two albums to boot. He is further known for his dynamic performances, playing live throughout New York. Take a listen to “Orbital Resonance” now and get lost in the sound.
