Alice Pisano mourns the end of the sunny season with “September”

When we think of summer, most times it is associated with joyful thoughts. In picturing the season we imagine things like ice cream cones, beach days and tanning by the pool. Once it ends though, we can be left with a small sadness. As much great things as fall brings, the hot sun is definitely missed by many. Alice Pisano touches on the after summer blues in her latest tune “September”.  Her stunning, emotive vocals skating atop piercing piano create a rich and hunting release.

The song is about more then just longing for a time passed. It is also about pining for a person. She sings of trying to forget someone when everywhere you look, you are painfully reminded. “Are you on your own/cause I’m on my own/ and I search for you in everyone.” We all understand that feeling of stinging heartache, making this offering so relatable.

The Italian born, London based talent is known for her captivating and passionate pop songs. This love for music bloomed from a young age singing in different bands as a teen. Listeners gravitate towards Pisano's musical sincerity. Creating intimate music about her unique experiences, “September” is another profound and personal triumph.
