Picking up the pace toward the chorus with a lick of jazz, Beroe makes it clear that she is, quite simply, in love. Putting a baby doll spin on a dream pop sound, Beroe is a unique force of melancholia and desire.
The dreamy, flirtatious video will transport you to an enchanted garden a century ago, complete with vintage outfits, fields of flora and bicycles with baskets. Self-described as ‘baroque pop’, Beroe cites the likes of Kate Bush, King Crimson and Pink Floyd as inspirations for her soft lensed, retro approach to modern music.
