BeMyFiasco shares visuals for “Outside The Lines” [Video]

Rising singer-songwriter BeMyFiasco recently dropped her phenomenal debut album Where I Left You under the guidance of Little Brother‘s Phonte who executive produced it. Now, she returns with the video for “Outside The Lines” from the project, which sees her working with Little Brother. The production has the classic LB sound fusing smooth soulful keys and pulsating bass-lines with hip-hop drum grooves that would easily get heads bopping from left to right. The record deals with the risks of being in love and allowing one’s vulnerability to flow as naturally as possible, while hoping the person on the other side does the same. BeMyFiasco delivers a heartfelt and carefree melodic performance ripe with soothing harmonies and lyrics that encourages exploration within a relationship in order to find the right balance for everyone involved. As expected it’s BeMyFiasco’s show but the inclusion of Phonte and Big Pooh even makes it better as the duo share their own experiences with this thing called love and show us how they wade through murky emotion-filled waters.

The visual, directed by husband and wife duo Office Romance (Andrew Klein and Effie Speridakos) and executive produced by Phonte, ramps up the concept of puppy love and how infectious it can be. We see BeMyFiasco and her love interest (played by NC artist Sonny Miles) run amok at a boring house party. While the other attendees seem to be stuck in a loop, the two lovebirds are dancing with reckless abandon, pillow fighting, and just being themselves. The party, however, gradually evolves into a full-on get-together as everyone finally gets it and joins the fun.

The “Outside The Lines” video arrives on the heels of the inclusion of Little Brother‘s seminal debut album The Listening in Rolling Stone’s list of the “200 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums Of All Time“.
