Brooklyn-based rapper/instrumentalist Deuce Ellis recently put out his new project Acid and now he returns with the visuals for the stand-out track "Electric Soul." Over a solemn piano riff, woozy basslines, and soft drum grooves, Ellis delivers a stream of consciousness raps filled with reflective thoughts. From acknowledging his little contributions on earth as a musician, he shows appreciation for the lessons learned during the journey.
The Trevor Lang-directed visual is a collage of clips from his recent capsule collection fashion shoot, his Rotten Island Records performance, and his trippy Times Square billboard ad. It gives viewers a sneak peek into Ellis's efforts behind his new 11 track project and also his fashion sense. His capsule clothing collection includes tees, hoodies, sweat pants, and two colorways of a new pair of fashion-forward kicks
Acid is the follow-up to his 2020 LP Midnight Ouroboros.
