Burner Records co-founder and Drimnagh’s greatest export Fynch is back and he’s better than ever on his new track “Soon”.
After the success of his project Bookie Pens & Loose Ends in 2019, Fynch has been playing in the shadows with his last single “Big Man” being the only release from the Dublin MC in 2020. Fear not however, Fynch is not dead and if anything he is getting better and better with every release. This is evident on this new track titled “Soon”.
This is latest single is a much more vulnerable, honest look at Fynch’s mindset as the global COVID-19 pandemic rages on. His vivid lyricism paints a picture of hope for the future over some amazing production from Beats By Willhouse. Dusty drum pockets with simple synth melodies gives Fynch’s intimate vocals a stunning backdrop. He discusses in depth the feeling of entrapment and the things he misses in this new world we are all adapting to as the days go by.
Fynch continues to prove why he is still looked at as an exciting prospect in the Irish scene. No one out there sounds like this. He is raw, emotional, vulnerable, and funny. With records like this, success is only the start for Fynch.
