Fedd The God releases NSFW visual for new single, “42” [VIDEO]

Taylor Gang newcomer, Fedd The God delivers a club-worthy hit along with a lavish music video for his latest single, “42.” Equipped with twerking women and bottles of Don Julio, the video depicts a night out for the Pittsburgh rapper. Following the success of his first single, “King James,” Fedd The God has cultivated a strong following on social media with the support of Wiz Khalifa’s label.

Sampling Black Rob’s “Whoa!,” the track touts a classic hip-hop sound. The violin melody over the subtle bass creates a familiar sound with a modern trap twist. Fedd The God uses the word “Whoa” as his hook, but delivers structured bars with an offhand swagger. Each verse is concise and calculated to perfectly mold into the beat with natural ease. Despite its methodical vibe, the single was created from a laid-back freestyle by the rapper. He describes the creative process, “It was my first time out in LA and I was in the studio with Wiz. There were some girls there and Wiz has this beat. I love the beat it samples, so I’m just freestyling over it and talking about how these girls were drinking all the 42 in the room and it ended up really coming to life that night.” The song depicts this simple and carefree inspiration in every verse.

Fedd The God plans to release his debut project with Taylor Gang later this year, along with more energetic visuals. The rapper continues to share studio sessions on his Instagram, preparing listeners for new music.
