Foster shares versatile debut EP ‘less than three’

Nashville artist Foster, who has become known for his ability to blend genres in an uncanny fashion, has shared his debut EP less than three. Released following the well-received singles “digital gf” and “wish you were here”, less than three builds upon the versatile sound of the singles for a vibrant, lush 6 song project that draws influence from hip-hop, alt-pop, indie, and more.

The EP opens with the title track “less than three”, which introduces bright guitars that create a sense of longing and anticipation, as crisp drums drop in beneath to create a solid foundation for Foster’s sharply-crafted melodies. Building throughout dynamic verses, the song culminates in a truly addictive chorus that showcases foster’s ability to craft focused, enticing hooks. “mandela effect” follows the opener and makes for an intriguing, psychedelic listen, with surreal, expansive guitars and ethereal chimes underscoring Foster’s smooth vocal performance. Single “digital gf” makes for a catchy, memorable listen with its infusion of pop, indie, and hip-hop influences. Closer “here we go again” ups the pace and finishes the EP with energizing, vital grooves and nostalgia-inducing sonics.
