Marc E. Bassy & Cory North connect for their engaging record, "Free Like Me," a standout from Bassy's new EP 'Bowie'

Maintaining a healthy relationship at any point in time is a challenge as it is, but that challenge is multiplied by a hundred in the midst of a pandemic. Northern California producer, Marc E. Bassy is well aware of this, as the past year came with its trials and tribulations that showcase the difficulties in preserving a thriving relationship. Looking to explore these notions, on his latest release, an EP named Bowie, he linked up with rising New Jersey vocalist, Cory North. Venting about relatable feelings, the standout release's stand out track resonates with their highly-relatable new collaboration, "Free Like Me."

Showcasing a strong chemistry, the record serves as a standout from Marc's recently released EP, Bowie. Comprised of 6 tracks, Bowie is an engaging experience. Throughout "Free Like Me," Cory North croons about an emotional back and forth with a significant other over silky smooth production from Bassy. Opting to be fully transparent and raw, the track ask genuine questions about the status of relationships, leaving no emotional stone unturned. The record does a great job of blending together metaphors and real-life situations, making it very relatable. Other standout tracks from the project include, "Trouble," and "Cold," an infectious record that features a notable performance from Buddy.
