MID CITY effuse ferocity on anthemic cut “Liar Liar”

Aussie band MID CITY share their new anthemic cut “Liar Liar”. Drenched in heavy, indie guitar lines and hefty drum thuds, the track adds yet another banger to their indie-rock repetoire.

Crash landing into our ears, the track effuses a sleekly produced soundcape. Perfect for letting loose and head-nodding throughout, “Liar Liar” is brimming with top notch ferocity. Featuring bulshy drum patterns that weave their way into your soul, MID CITY are exemplar creators of unqiue, exciting indie-rock. With it’s anthemic chorus, this is a single that will put MID CITY on your indie radar, if you’ve been missing out on their previous work.

“What started out as a beast of an instrumental, ‘Liar Liar’ took its final form when I forced myself out of town to a kitch-as-hell 1950’s caravan out past the Dandenongs”, lead vocalist Joel Griffith explains. “It was here, as the valley filled with heavy smoke haze, that I put pen to paper and conjured the demons needed to match melody with meaning.”

“Liar Liar” exhibits MID CITY’s ability to produce sleek but rowdy tunes. This is perfect for those motivational playlists that we all very much need right now.
