Nigerian star Qing Madi releases empowering new music video “Why”

Rising Nigerian artist Qing Madi has unveiled the official music video for her latest single, “Why,” a powerful song showcasing her unique Afro-R&B sound and commitment to spreading hope and empowerment. The 16-year-old Columbia recording artist, whose name translates to “heaven,” has already made waves with her previous single, “See Finish,” which has accumulated over 8.2 million streams.

Bu Thiam, CEO of Bu Vision and EVP at Columbia Records, is a notable executive with a resume working with renowned artists such as Rihanna, Kanye West, Akon, and Lady Gaga. Thiam made two trips to Nigeria in one week to sign the young singer-songwriter.
