Josh’s vocals and guitar work shine on this track, as do Liam’s driving bass lines and Chris’ powerful drumming. But it’s the way these individual elements come together that really sets their new single apart. The production and mixing by Fletcher Matthews (known for his work with Trophy Eyes, The Buoys, Dear Seattle, and CLEWS) is top-notch, allowing each instrument to stand out while still blending seamlessly into the whole.

The lyrics to “Get Out” are just as impactful as the instrumentals, with Josh’s singing about feeling like he’s drowning and wondering if he’ll ever be able to break free. The track is a testament to the band’s ability to convey complex emotions through their music and is sure to resonate with anyone who’s ever felt trapped or helpless.

OK Hotel’s “Get Out” is a standout track that showcases the band’s impressive musicianship and songwriting abilities. With a new EP on the horizon and the support of esteemed producer Fletcher Matthews and mastering engineer Will Yip (known for his work with Turnstile, Lauren Hill, Tigers Jaw, and Title Fight), it’s clear that OK Hotel are a force to be reckoned with in the alternative rock scene.
