Hardworking producer/beatsmith Ol’ Burger Beats returns with a new single “Peace” which pairs him with LA-based rapper/songwriter YUNGMORPHEUS. Backed by the sombre and somewhat melancholic backdrop made up of low-tone keys, layered textures and hushed drum grooves, YUNGMORPHEUS delivers an impassioned performance as he pours out his frustration on wax about the way his people have been treated over the years. From police brutality, racial profiling and systemic discrimination, he still finds a way to stay hopeful and leaves a ray of light for listeners to bask in. As the title says, he is all about peace but he is fully aware of the situation at hand.
“Peace” on the latest single off Ol’ Burger Beats’ upcoming LP, 74: Out of Time.
