Dancing Astronaut’s New Music Friday: April 11, 2025

Charlotte de Witte

Words by Alex Lambeau, Zach Salafia, and Ross Goldenberg.

Charlotte de Witte – The Realm

After 15 years in the game, Charlotte de Witte is now gearing up to release her debut album on November 7, with “The Realm” arriving as the first glimpse into what’s to come. The techno queen’s lead single lands as a pounding, atmospheric techno cut that sets the stage for what promises to be one of the genre’s most exciting full-length offerings of the year.

Chris Lake & Amber Mark – In My Head

Chris Lake’s debut album Chemistry is officially on the way. Set to drop July 11 via Black Book Records, the album’s second single — which doubles as one of Dancing Astronaut’s most-anticipated IDs of 2025 — “In My Head” featuring Amber Mark gives the dance music world a taste of what’s to come. Originally debuted during Lake’s 2023 Hollywood Boulevard set with FISHER, the track has since become one of his most-requested releases, and it’s finally here.

Henri Bergmann, Jono Stephenson & Layla Benitez – Memory Leak

Henri Bergmann — one of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch in 2025 — and Layla Benitez – who was featured in our 2024 Artist to Watch class edition — have released their first-ever collaboration with Jono Stephenson on Interstellar Records. “Memory Leak” arrives the same day as Bergmann and Benitez’s Coachella Do LaB appearance, with all three artists set to celebrate with a release party the following night at Floyd Miami. This futuristic track showcases a mastery of harmony and sound design, driven by heavy synths and cinematic basslines.

Prospa – Don’t Stop

Prospa — another name featuring in our class of Artists to Watch in — returns to Circoloco Records to deliver another certified dance floor anthem, “Don’t Stop.” Prospa’s sultry, playful production is guaranteed to get crowds moving at festivals and clubs alike. Building on the momentum of their smash hit “This Rhythm,” “Don’t Stop” sets the stage for an upcoming summer for the duo that will be rife with can’t-miss shows and must-hear releases.

Sultan + Shepard & Rinzen – Before The Storm

Sultan + Shepard are the gift that keeps on giving. Few artists (if any) are able to release so much quality music so consistently and their first single of a seven-track EP Communicate — also featured in Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated IDs of 2025 — “Before The Storm” is their latest example. Originally debuted during the duo’s back-to-back with Lane 8 at Proper NYE, the duo’s collaboration with Rinzen is a beautiful instrumental that builds slowly into euphoric crescendos and was written in one day in collaboration with their fellow This Never Happened staple.

Hardwell – Sanctuary

We only had to wait a total of eight days to be able to receive a lossless version of what many — including us — consider to be one of the greatest Hardwell intro tracks of the past decade-plus. Hardwell had teased that his opening number during his first Ultra closing set since his comeback performance in 2022 would be his next single titled “Sanctuary” but few were physically and mentally prepared for what would actually hit the Bayfront Park airwaves on March 30. “Sanctuary” is the re-engineered sound of the Revealed Recordings boss at its finest, interweaving both bigroom-techno and melodic-techno behind a goosebump-inducing vocal.
