Magnolia utilizes waveshapers, wavefolders, and analog linear TZFM (Through-zero Frequency Modulation) for a “West Coast” modular synthesis sound. The instrument also offers resonant filters and analog oscillators for subtractive synthesis, as well as a modulation section with a Toggle function for switching modulations.
Magnolia features eight analog voices with two oscillators (carrier and modulator) and 24 Db/oct resonant High-pass and Low-pass filters. The carrier oscillator has a through-zero core for analog FM (Frequency Modulation) sounds, applicable to filters. Its signal flow allows for continuously variable waveform shapes and a per-voice wavefolder circuit.
