After a two-decade absence from studio releases, Pulp have returned with More, their first full-length album since 2001’s We Love Life. Released today, 6 June, the album arrives just before the band kicks off their largest-ever tour across the UK and Ireland.
Recorded at the tail end of 2024 with James Ford behind the desk, More serves as the group’s eighth studio album. Early singles like Spike Island and Got to Have Love have already drawn strong praise, and critics have embraced the full record ahead of its official release.
Yet this isn’t just a standard comeback. As Jarvis Cocker explains, releasing an album transforms music from a personal creation into something that belongs to listeners: “It can become part of people’s lives.”
Coinciding with the tour’s launch at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on 7 June, the band has announced a limited Tour Edition of the album, available only at the merchandise stands at each venue. Packaged with a unique commemorative ticket, each show will offer just 250 copies.
Additionally, a Sheffield-specific edition can be found at select record stores in the band’s hometown. Fans can still pick up various limited-colour vinyl versions—personally chosen by Jarvis—through the band’s website.
To complete the experience, Pulp have collaborated with Dragonfly Tea to offer a Sencha-style green tea, available for order now.
