Ultra Music Festival fans, great news has finally come upon us about the ficial location for the festival’s 2020 edition. After what feels like centuries not knowing what was in store for the world-famous festival, the Miami City Commission ficially voted on a contract that would bring back the festival to its true home, Bayfront Park. After a few long hours discussion, the Miami City Commission voted 3-2 in agreement with the proposal.
In return for the festival coming back home, there are a few things that need to be changed in regards to the event. One these changes is the removal some stages, Oasis and possibly (not yet confirmed) a Resistance stage. Payment will also be owed to the city in fire and police expenses. The payment was reduced from its initial $475,000 to $308,000.
Although many people are cheering about this decision, Miami Downtown Residents are disappointed. It is likely that meetings will be held for these residents to voice their opinions and concerns.
We can’t wait to see Ultra Music Festival return home. What do you think the news? Share with us your thoughts in the comments below.
