Rosa Festival to return to the Peak District for its second year

Rosa Festival 2022 was a smashing success, serving fans the greatest summer nights in the heart of the lush green Peak District. With gorgeous sunsets, fantastic music, and earth-shattering sound systems rising the dust, it’s no surprise that the festival’s 500 tickets were sold out in its first year. Rosa Festival is scheduled to return for the second year in a row in July, featuring a diverse mix of well-known headliners and up-and-coming artists.

The festival’s unique location, nestled on a hill amidst the stunning natural beauty of the Peak District, has helped to attract festival-goers from all over the UK and beyond. Rosa Festival’s focus on Drum & Bass culture has set it apart from other music festivals in the country, with previous headliners including Mungo’s Hifi, Benny Page, Parly B, and a surprise appearance from Off Me Nut Records. However, the festival also features DJs and performers playing Reggae, Jungle, Breakbeat, Techno, and more, ensuring that there is something for everyone.

This year’s festival is expected to be even better than the last, with the first wave of tickets now available. Rosa Festival is set to take place in a new location embedded in nature and amongst the hills, promising an even more unique and awe-inspiring experience. The festival is also expanding to become a fully-fledged food festival, with a range of unique stalls catering to all tastes, including a special appearance from legendary Sheffield vendor John’s Van.

Spread across two fields, the festival site offers plenty of activities and entertainment for all, including merchandise, game areas, and three stages. The Stags Head, Vibes Marquee, and a new bands stage, which is yet to be announced, all boast their own unique character and impressive set-ups, complete with weighty sound systems. The festival experience is relaxed, with re-entry allowed before 9pm every night, allowing festival-goers to explore the stunning natural surroundings.

Rosa Festival’s founders, Sheffield collective Rosa Audio, were inspired to create the festival during the pandemic, as a way to test their newly built sound system and produce new tracks. Despite the challenges posed by lockdowns, they forged ahead with their plans, and the result is a festival that has quickly become a must-visit for music lovers across the UK.

With the 2023 lineup still in the making, festival-goers can expect a new secret stage and plenty of surprises. Rosa Festival is a celebration of creativity, flair, and community, and its relaxed and easy-going character has won it a devoted following. With the first wave of tickets selling out fast, don’t miss your chance to be part of this incredible event. Be sure to follow Rosa Festival’s socials for the latest news and updates.
