Grammy-nominated artist Seth Glier has just shared his latest important single off of his climate solutions themed upcoming album EVERYTHING. Called “Birches” the song features the gorgeous vocal harmonies of Windborne.

With “Birches”, Seth Glier writes a song all about the beloved birch trees he grew up with in the northeast. His single also discusses how the warming winter has pushed these important trees to higher altitude and colder climates and how we must save the trees. “Birches” also shines a light on how migration in itself can be a climate solution. Lyrics including, “the birches have fallen / the maples are moving / praying for snow,” show this movement and how it is because of global warming. Musically, “Birches” is an emotive choral arrangement complete with a hybrid of soulful vocals and cathartic harmonies. The song is influenced by traditional music from the Appalachia and the songs Seth used to sing growing up.
