After gaining some steam with her Trouble assisted single, “Thug Love,” over TikTok and most notably, YouTube, Detroit songwriter, Aaria has started to build a bit of a buzz. Looking to double down on the attention, she recruits Dreamdoll to give a new verse on the highly anticipated remix.
Produced by WhtNoize and TheAnswer, “Thug Love,” is a melodically driven single that finds Aaria revisiting her stance on love. Buoyed by the concept of, “T.H.U.G.” representing the phrase, “Trustworthy, Humorous, Understanding and Genuine,” the duo showcases their obvious chemistry, highlighted by Dreamdoll’s scene-stealing verse right before Aaria cleans it up with her catchy chorus.
Speaking on the collaboration with DreamDoll, Aaria shared, “I felt that DreamDoll would make a perfect fit for the song and her egotism just brought big empowering vibes to the song.” She further went on to say, “When I released the snippet of the song, everyone was asking for the full version and my team, No Rule Entertainment, had surprised me with the DreamDoll verse.”
