Portland-hailing pop act Andrew Ash drops feel-good single “I Think I’m Ready For Love,” an 80s synth pop number delving into a personal shift in his own love life. Led by his playful melodies and his light yet soaring vocals, the heart-warming track is a luscious and groovy combination of contemporary music and vintage feels.
Drawing from his transformation from someone who shied away from commitment to finding love in someone who made him a better person, the romantic track is the kind of love story we all hope for.
Speaking further about the powerhouse single, he says, “The chorus just formed naturally, without a lot of thought, and it wasn’t based on anything relevant in my life, until I started working on the verses. I dated a lot in my 20’s, kissed a bunch of frogs, sabotaged my own relationships, felt an insane amount of heartbreak, feared commitment, I was all over the place. I then found someone who changed how I treated relationships, they made me a better person, they challenged me, they were the real deal, and they made me want to give up on my old ways, try harder, and lean into the commitment that I was so afraid of.”
With a knack for delivering heart-on-sleeve productions wrapped up in earworm sonics, Andrew Ash continues to establish himself as a rising star in pop music.
