Brisbane Singer Sycco Reminisces Summer Heartbreak on “Swarm”

Warm summer nights, passionate love affairs, and the frog’s song soundtrack a lonely evening. Brisbane-based singer/ producer Sycco paints a glittering painting of an awfully lonely experience on her latest track of the year.

The 22-year-old has been on a creative hot streak, already establishing a dominant name for herself at the early stages of her career. Her early singles built a persona, taking on elements of psychedelic rock as well as bedroom pop, gaining her the attention of Triple J and cosigns from Tame Impala and Flume

“Swarmis a warm ode to a fresh, yet never relenting past love, built on dreamy textures and a comforting instrumental. 

Lyrically, it’s Sycco addressing her personal struggle with anxiety while the production acts as a means to sonically reassure her.
