C Stunna and DJ Drama Unleash ‘Still Stuntin,’ A Star-Studded Gangsta Grillz Mixtape

C Stunna and the legendary DJ Drama unveil Still Stuntin, a Star-Studded Gangsta Grillz Mixtape chock full of bass-heavy trap bangers and street anthems. The 13-track project is C Stunna’s mixtape contribution to the summer music releases. The project features a host of emerging rappers with C Stunna standing at the forefront with his laidback distinctive southern drawl and street-savvy raps.

“Intro” is a sombre tune comprising solemn piano arrangements that rise to a plateau when the bass kick drops. Here, C Stunna reflects on his humble beginnings when he didn’t have anything to his name and how he progressed into living his dreams off rap. “Lose Control” is an aptly titled track that pairs C Stunna and Real Boston Richey and together they throw caution to the wind as they paint the city red with their stylish raps while flexing on the detractors. This is followed by “Drippin Rhude” and “Take Sum Risk,” two tracks bolstered by thumping basslines and cinematic textures underpinned by C Stunna’s confident drawl and irreverent raps about his daily activities.

Some other interesting cuts include the playful “Draymond Green” which employs a psychedelic sample and the Luh Tyler-assisted “No Pad or Pen.” The latter serves as another go-getter anthem and sees both C Stunna and Tyler effortlessly trading bars. Next is the single “Curtis Jackson,“ a thumping and brooding tune that sounds like the backdrop for a sci-fi thriller. The 50 Cent homage tune brings together C Stunna and Skrilla for a rap duet filled with bravado and no-holds-barred lyrics.

Other tracks include the sparse but punchy “240,” the brass-driven herb-inspired “Blunt,” and the champion anthem ”We The Ones” featuring Wizz Havinn. The final track “Freakneak” brings together Fatpocket, Jimbo World, T Row, and Woodboy Gee for an R-rated party filled with voluptuous ladies in exquisite spots.

Still Stuntin is C Stunna’s first full-length project of 2024 and comes off the heels of his last release “Al Roker,” and thus numerous performances at Spotify’s Most Necessary Live concert in Miami and Rolling Loud.
