Pay close attention to Ernest Rareberrg. The young and rising NYC-based artist has only three official singles to his name and has already managed to attain a modest but dedicated following due to his delicate songwriting and inventive genre-blending. His songs take elements from early 2000’s indie-rock, UK punk/post-punk, and bedroom pop to create something nostalgic but yet wholly unique.
His last single is a Chrome Sparks produced indie-pop ballad entitled “Secondary Handstand”. It was later followed by a sublime visual directed by Noah Weisfogel that features our artist performing the moody single in a bunch of stylized shots throughout a seemingly empty New York City.
“[Secondary Handstand] is meant to express a sense of responsibility that you can’t steer away from.” – Ernest Rareberrg
