HoodTrophy Bino is a Los Angeles based rapper signed with Soulja Boy‘s Stacks On Deck Money Gang (S.O.D.M.G.) label. Growing up in the South Central LA projects, HoodTrophy Bino used his passion for music to break free from generational cycles of trauma. Today, he’s transforming the hip-hop game with lush narratives of LA nights and sensually electric affairs. His latest release “I Want Her” is a battle between the heart and the head as HoodTrophy Bino finds himself caught between two women.
“I Want Her” is overflowing with dark and illusive beats, infectious percussion, and an alluring vocal from HoodTrophy Bino. Cutting between interludes of intoxicated phone calls and imaginative verses, HoodTrophy Bino reminisces over two different connections. He rhythmically sings, “I want her, I want her, I want her / I want you, I want you, I want you.” The single is a dreamlike reverie for drunken decisions that comes alive over rich and melodic sonics.
