Coming off of a massive couple of years, Conducta is quickly cementing himself as one of the premier producers in the UK. Bringing a classic UK Garage sound to his production, the Bristol native is playing a big role in bringing the sound back to the forefront. Founder of the bubbling Kiwi Rekords imprint, Conducta has created a fresh platform that features some of the most exciting artists in UKG. His influence has not gone unnoticed; He recently covered the September issue of DJ Mag along with receiving nominations for the DJ Mag Best of Britsih 2020 awards for Best DJ along with a nom for Kiwi Rekords for Best Label.
An epic remixer, Conducta has released some huge remixes for high profile British artists like Headie One, Jorja Smith, Yiigaa, SG Lewis, and Aluna. His production credits are also extensive; perhaps most notably including when he connected with A.J. Tracey for the UK smash “Ladbroke Grove”. Although he’s kept a steady flow of remixes and mixes coming, “Time” marks his first single release in over two years. Enlisting the help of south London singer-songwriter, JGrrey on vocals, the track features a seductive tone. The lyrical content alludes to not being on the same page in a relationship, with JGrrey making it clear she doesn’t want to waste her time with it.
Conducta is showing no signs of letting up anytime soon, which is a great thing for fans of UKG. You can stay up to date with his curated Spotify playlist The Kiwi Sound, self-dubbed “the home of new UK Garage”, for the latest UKG sounds from Kiwi Rekords and beyond.
