Albanian-born, Los Angeles-based singer/ songwriter Mimoza returns with an uplifting anthem about finding inner confidence and strength. The single follows this year’s party anthem “Unprotected”, and last year’s popular release “Young Queen”.
“Madly” is all about not settling when it comes to a relationship. If someone does not give you what you need or deserve, Mimoza reminds us to leave them and fall in love with ourselves. With lyrics including, “all the times you left me hopeless / do you regret me leaving / let me go without speaking,” Mimoza reminds her past lover that they hurt her and she is moving on.
“Madly” features Mimoza’s signature soaring vocals filled with emotion and heart. Bright acoustic guitar riffs, shimmery synths and a cinematic and climatic chorus, make “Madly” the self empowerment anthem of the year. In the accompanying visuals, she is seen singing into the camera in a very romantic setting complete with beach views and a bathtub full of roses. The acclaimed singer further demonstrates the song’s meaning of self worth by singing to herself in the mirror reminding herself of her own inner strength.
Mimoza was born in wartorn Kosovo and has emigrated to both Europe and the United States. Finding a love of music at a young age, she is influenced by the likes of Beyonce, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. She has found commercial success co-writing the hit single “Kings & Queens” by Ava Max. With her solo project, Mimoza effortlessly blends stunning pop melodies, electronically dipped landscapes and soulful vocals to sing narratives of empowerment, love, and uplifting others. Check out “Madly” now and remember you deserve more.
