Athens-born, Cardiff-based musician Minas has returned with a new single, titled “Fight One.” The multi-talented artist is a producer, vocalist, pianist, and lyricist, who grew up in the circus with parents who were deeply involved with the 1980’s punk scene. Following up hard-hitting recent singles “Foreign” and “Payday”, his latest track “Fight One” presents a powerful, sonically raw offering that refreshingly blends eclectic influences from hip-hop, 2-step garage, punk, and more.
“Fight One” opens with starry synths underscored by watery, immersive keys. Atop the atmospheric intro, Minas enters with a crisp, commanding delivery before shuffling, crunchy percussion and expansive backing vocals are brought in.
