Italy-hailing electro-pop duo Neontown whip up an ethereal anthem swaying between pop and dance on “Eyes On Me,” bringing intense synths together with catchy vocal delivery for a simple yet impactful show of their musical creativity.
An enticing number about going out and dancing your night away with strangers in an attempt to make someone jealous, this track came to life from an unexpected writing session and leans into more narrative-led song writing rather than drawing from personal experience.
Speaking of the spontaneous track, the pair said, “We didn’t really sit down to write the song, we were really just playing with words over an old instrumental track we had. Next thing we know, after 10 minutes we had a whole chorus for a new song and we were just so obsessed with it that we wanted to finish it as soon as possible. We recorded it and after we got the final master back we scrapped our next release plan and we were like “This is so gonna be the next single”.
Inspired by the likes of Owl City, Zedd and The Veronica’s, the power-packed duo have been releasing music since 2020, framed by infusions of European heritage and a natural ability to marry dance rhythms with lush melodies, catapulting them to fame.
