Born and raised in Kailua, Hawai’i, LA-based pop-punk artist Sara Beth Yurow is carving her path in the industry with her distinct musical style. From her various sessions with established artists, backing up Rachel Platten for the 2016 ESPN Pro Bowl Pregame Show to an appearance on Hawai’i Five-0, and representing Susan Page Modeling in Disney World at the semi-annual Talent Inc Industry Showcase. She has an extensive entertainment background and is now focused on her solo career, she delivers her new single “What About” which talks about a lack of appreciation and validation. Over a rich piano-driven backdrop, Sara pours her all with an emotional performance as she pleads, “What about all I worked for? Does that mean anything?“. She doesn’t hide her hurt but at the same time, she reminds us with lines like “4.0 GPA/Singing protégé/And I never lose my way So think before you judge me” that she is more than just a face.
