Los Angeles based teen prodigy Sevi has just shared her new irresistible single. Entitled “Oh Okay”, the song follows her debut alt pop release “Backup Friend”.
“Oh Okay” is Sevi’s declaration of being over the drama and gossip and standing up for an existence filled with genuinity and honesty. Sometimes people want to put others down and with her new single Sevi shows the world that she can be above the fray and know her own worth despite the harsh words from others. Lyrics including “That my silence screams louder/ My silence screams louder / Than anything you‘ve heard / I don’t think you’ll ever learn,” show that she is aware that not reacting to negativity is a strong and important stance. Musically, “Oh Okay” shines with atmospheric synths, bouncy beats and warmly rich vocals. Soulful melodies and a pop-laden hook completes the alluring musical moment.
Sevi began performing at the young age of five, acting in popular musical theater productions. At only eight, the creator became a multiinstrumentalist learning the guitar, keys and violin. During COVID though is when her artistic side truly took flight with Sevi throwing herself into singing and songwriting. With an extreme talent and important message, Sevi is an artist to watch.
