Quoncho shares raw new EP, ‘Zip Em All’

Alabama artist Quoncho has dropped off a new EP, titled Zip Em All. Quoncho is an overlooked name when it comes to Southern rap music, as he has steadily been building a catalogue of enticing, infectious releases. His style is unapologetic, and he remains unwavering when it comes to confidence and presence on the mic. With his newest EP called Zip Em All, Quoncho showcases a real glimpse into his authentic, uncut life coming out of Childersburg, Alabama, atop hard-hitting, expansive instrumentals produced by Lollypopbeatz.

“Demons Knockin'” opens the project with ominous, frigid instrumentation and cutting flows. Atop icy synths, massive 808s, and crisp percussion, Quoncho delivers potent, imposing verses with a commanding delivery that draws the listener’s attention off the get-go. “Broke Opps” finds Quoncho and Lollypopbeatz delivering a barren soundscape entrenched with realism, as orchestral, wintery keys and a trunk-knocking rhythm section create a powerful backdrop for Quoncho’s charismatic flows. Title track “Zip Em All” closes the project with an electrifying track that blends crystalline key riffs with an aggressive rhythm section, placing an intriguing contrast beneath Quoncho’s uncompromising delivery.

Quoncho’s latest Zip Em All continues his run of sleek, aggressive Southern hip-hop offerings, with a 5 song drop that excites with its hard-hitting blend of freezing keys, expansive synths, and booming 808s.
