Pawz One and Evolve have formed a new alliance under the banner called Random Act of Violence and their debut single “Sixteen Shots” just touched down and we are here for it. With those two lyrical veterans on deck, we already know what to expect as the gritty sounds from producer EQ slowly build up as the emcees proceed to damage the opposition with verbal darts. Pawz One opens it up with his energetic flow followed by Evolve’s gruff vocals and graphic rap imagery. No prisoners are taken as the duo are joined by underground lyricist Copywrite who adds his own fiery touch to the track while DJ Eyeball delivers some solid vocal scratches to tie the entire affair together.
“Sixteen Shots” is taken from Random Acts of Violence’s forthcoming album to drop digitally via Below System Records on 3/25. Later this year the album will also be available on vinyl, CD, and cassette. Stream “Sixteen Shots” on all DSPs here. Pre-order the album here.
