Was your experience different, if experienced at all? St. Humain takes these stereotypical situations and turns them on their head with his new single “Sick Sad Love Song”. Some examples include riding in the back seat as opposed to driving a date and singing at the event instead of just attending it like the rest of the class. With a driving rhythm and sparkling synths, everything about this track evokes those feel-good vibes. That infectious quality contrasts the song’s message of feeling like an outcast. His effortless falsetto really shines in this vibrant offering.
Singapore born, Sydney based talent St. Humain is a true jack off all trades. A singer, songwriter and producer, he puts his all into his craft to create a unique genre-blending sound. Mixing pop, electronic and R&B, his style is so mesmerizing and soulful. This latest release takes that lush essence he is known for and displays it so brilliantly. He reveals, "The song's backdrop is (loosely) my high school prom where I didn't really wanna go for the social aspect but I just really wanted to perform. Which I did, in a cover band with some of my friends whom I was in a band with at that time."
