Born and raised in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria, ZeXzy is now based in Lagos where he makes magic happen through his music that is driven by a desire to motivate and inspire. His drive, focus, and tenacity will lead him to become a relentless and unstoppable force in the independent circuit. Having lost his singing voice 15 years ago, ZeXzy battled depression and anxiety. He later overcame this challenge and began singing and writing music a decade later. ZeXzy cites icons such as Michael Jackson, Tupac Shakur, The Notorious BIG, Bryan Adams, and 2Baba as pivotal influences in his music.
