Two weeks ago, Carnage dropped a single for his upcoming third studio album Papi Gordo 2. That song called “Together” is a collaboration with Bronx house legends the Martinez Brothers. It also features production from British house mainstay Elderbrook and hip-hop producing veteran Mike Dean. The result of this interesting cross of production talent culminated in a low-key house track that is as tranquil as it is punchy.
Now this new house anthem has a music video release by Ultra Music. The new video captures pristine drone shots and introspective moments of Carnage and the Martinez Brothers engulfed in natural splendor. Considering that COVID has limited the entertainment industry to a crippling degree, it’s refreshing to see a music video that shows individuals with a passion for music relaxing and hanging out at home. Even though most of us don’t have marvelous views of rolling, evergreen mountains in our backyards, it displays a sense of hope and togetherness in these uncertain times that all of us can cling to.
