Allday has released his latest single “Drip Drop”

Australian rapper Allday, currently based in London, has recently released his latest single, “Drip Drop,” as a precursor to his upcoming album, “The Necklace,” scheduled to drop on August 2nd via Dew Process. This new single is a fusion of rap and pop with a sonic landscape designed to convey emotional substance. “Drip Drop” marks Allday’s first entry into album mode, following his February release “Access” and a spontaneous freestyle of a Jamie XX beat.

The introspective single “Drip Drop” offers a deeper connection to Allday’s fan base, revealing personal anecdotes detailing the human experience’s complexity. Allday highlights his come-up and the grind that has taken him to his current status, producing relatable lyricism that connects with the masses. The song features haunting piano keys against a percussive beat, with an infectious chorus showcasing Allday’s versatility.

With over 300 million streams, three Top 10 ARIA charting albums, and a following of over 700,000 people and counting, Allday has previously worked with hit-makers such as Troye Sivan, Mallrat, Amy Shark, and Sofi Tukker. Growing up in Adelaide, Allday was exposed to a range of genres from rap to bands in the 80’s and 90’s, including The Cure, Oasis, Echo, The Verve, and more.

Allday has sold-out tours in Festival Hall and Luna Park in Australia, hosted several sold-out shows throughout the UK in 2022 and 2023, and shared stages with the likes of Skizzy Mars and Mod Sun across the US. He holds six Gold-certified singles, two Platinum singles, and a Gold-certified EP. “Drip Drop” is a promising preview of what’s yet to come later this year with Allday’s album, The Necklace.
