Nigerian-American music executive and seasoned A&R manager CeCe possesses a trained ear for unique sounds. For her sophomore single “All I Need,’ the producer pairs Nigerian rapper/singer Dremo with Atlanta’s KCamp for a smooth blend of Afropop, R&B, and melodic hip-hop.
The love-soaked record is a no-holds-barred outpour of emotions for a loved one. The production is bolstered by a warm, inviting beat fit for a romantic evening between two individuals. Dremo opens the floodgates with his silky melodic vocal delivery, switching between pidgin English and Yoruba. KCamp follows suit with his alluring vocals and a short tale of meeting the love of his life. I would never have seen this pair on a track together but the way they each approached it was too smooth and seamless.
“All I Need’’ is taken from CeCe’s forthcoming LP which also features names such as Fivio Foreign, Dave East, Badboy Timz, and many others. The Bronx-based creative has also launched her own talent development company Ataria Inc and is on a verge of dropping a proper debut album.
