Duckwrth drops ‘Chrome Bull EP’ and “Sneaky” [Visualizer]

Eclectic genre-ending artist Duckwrth recently put out his new EP Chrome Bull EP via STEM. The 8 track project sees him pushing the envelope as he brings quite a wide range of sounds and styles to the forefront. From the highly danceable (Forbes) lead single “Power Power,” globe-trotting love anthem “BEG” featuring Clay, and cheeky sex-positive jam “Ce Soir” in a much-awaited collaboration with fellow Taurean, Syd. Other refreshing tracks include “Sneaky” and “Super Saiyan Wrist” which give different sides to the artist.

“Sneaky” is a brilliant collaboration with British/Ghanaian producer Juls who gifts him with a futuristic Afropop sound ripe with a hypnotic bassline and a bouncy groove that keeps the head nodding. The punchy “Super Saiyan Wrist” take cues from dark alternative pop with R&B aesthetics and is underpinned by Duckwrth’s distinct melodic runs and unapologetic songwriting.

Overall, the South Central recording artist, musician and designer continues to break from the norm with his noncomformitist style.

This fall, the luminous rapper commenced his third headlining tour, performing brand new songs off Chrome Bull. Tickets are available here.
