Jamar Carr is a prolific rapper/songwriter out of Queens, NY and he is not new to EM as he has delivered a slew of singles and projects over the years. At the moment he returns to the forefront with the visuals for his previous released single “Whole Lotta” featuring PTB Rell. The CEDES produce record has an ominous vibe that sounds like something out of a horror flick and it serves as the perfect backdrop for Carr’s vivid lyricism and no holds barred demeanor. The rapper kicks back against the naysayers reminding them to stay in their respective lanes as he is busy achieving his goals. PTB Rell joins the fray with his mellow and somewhat hushed flow while Carr ties it up with a memorable hook to complete the mission.
Gibran B directs the video and makes use of dark lighting and an overall moody aesthetic to drive home the message in the song. The rappers are captured in their natural element as they perform their parts and the seamless transitions into scenes work perfectly for the song.
