KiKi Holli enjoys the little moments on “NEW HIGH”

Los Angeles based singer-songwriter KiKi Holli crafts soulful pop rock releases centred around themes of connection, empathy, love, loss, and personal evolution. Her new single “NEW HIGH” follows her unique cover of Roxy Music’s “More Than This” shared last year.

With “NEW HIGH”, KiKi Holli sweeps listeners straight to a scenic drive down the Malibu coast. This song was inspired by a long separation she had with her husband, and the pain and isolation that many of us experienced during the pandemic. Finding her happiness with long drives and living in the moment, she reminds listeners that it is important to find joy in the little things. With KiKi singing “we are going to make it through the light/ drive on to the morning light/ love makes the ride worthwhile/ highway 10 at night”, “NEW HIGH” is a joyous narrative of hope and perseverance. Sonically, the track features warm sunset-dipped vocals, soft rock beats and emotional bright guitar riffs. She is able to create music that simultaneously feels timeless but also modern.

KiKi Holli is a multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter who has a background in theater and acting. Her love of Dusty Springfield led her to co-write and star in the Off-Broadway production of Forever Dusty, which earned attention from the likes of The New York Times. “NEW HIGH” marks the second ever release for the singer who promises more music to come. With a strong passion for storytelling, songwriting and connecting with others through music, KiKi Holli has an exciting future and we can’t wait to hear what is next.
