Supa ChuLi raps about secret romantic entanglements on new “Dear Best Friend” single

Supa ChuLi has released a new single called “Dear Bestfriend.” With this song Supa ChuLi lives up to the momentum he has built surrounding his charismatic personality that has listeners gravitating towards his potent energy and sound. ChuLi is a New Bern, North Carolina bred rapper signed to TTG (Trained To Go) Records based in Charlotte, North Carolina. He follows up his engaging TTG debut “Oochie” where he is a featured artist on labelmate Baby Cheef’s groundbreaking song with an expansive, melodious offering in “Dear Bestfriend”, while showcasing his versatility in the process.

Atop cloudy, atmospheric keys drifting atop booming, heavy 808s, ChuLi delivers energizing vocals that find him blending melodious inflections with a raw delivery to a captivating effect. His vocals soar atop the airy production, as he finds a happy medium between hip-hop and R&B.

Dear Best Friend is my first single on the TTG and the song is about couples out here that like to be secrets to the rest of the world and their friends.  So out and about when they’re in public, around other friends who don’t know, they’ll play it cool like best friends. But behind closed doors they’re secret lovers, they just want to keep people out of their business,” Supa ChuLi explained.

“Dear Best Friend” makes for a infectious new release from the TTG Records artist, blending genres in a cohesive fashion while providing much replay value.
