Emerging multi-faceted Canadian singer, songwriter, and actress Zenia Marshall is making her way on two fronts, the music and film industry. She has played multiple roles on screen, from being one of the leads of the ‘Date My Dad’ TV series alongside ‘7th Heaven’’s Barry Watson and Hollywood legend Raquel Welch, to a supporting lead role in the movie ‘Summer of Dreams’. She also sang alongside 80s pop princess, Debbie Gibson, and as a recurring guest star on CW’s Supernatural. With all that work behind her, she still is not taking breaks as she delivers the visuals for her new single “Prove Me Wrong”.
The mellow love ballad sees her reflecting on the unpredictability of blossoming love, and wondering how things could pan out as she takes baby steps towards watering the love and guarding her heart simultaneously. She pours her heart over the cinematic and lush backdrop, and shares her hopes and fears with the listener with deep commanding melodic runs and heart-rending lyrics that everyone can relate to.
The visual style has a throwback feel and makes use of short performance shots of Zenia juxtaposed against a tale of two love birds figuring things out while enjoying each other’s company.
Zenia is a stage vet having sung and toured worldwide in her mom’s internationally acclaimed Tina Turner Tribute show since the age of 13 and has since been headlined in numerous musical runs, cover bands, and theatre act shows.
