Boston heavyweight M-Dot recently put out his latest album Ego and the Enemy 2: A Dissolute Paradise and now he returns with the visuals for “Not Today”. The Black milk-produced gem is a hard-hitting and cinematic piece that sees M-Dot gathering up the spirit to face the daily struggles that he is used to. He talks about the downtimes and how things might not go one’s way but he definitely not slipping as he is ready to take the bull by the horns and make the best ut of any situation he finds himself in.
The video shot by Arvid Wuensch in Dresden, Germany depicts a “Murphy’s Law” scenario (what can go wrong, will go wrong). As M-Dot faces several unexpected obstacles before showtime in a foreign land, we see why perseverance and determination develop the theme of never succumbing to failure on “Not Today.”
