Multi-instrumentalist Webmoms finds his sound on soulful track "Waiting"

Multi-instrumentalist and producer, Webmoms, offers an overdue apology for his habit of running late on soulful single “Waiting,” featuring crooning vocals from rising singer-songwriter MADDY. With neo-soul sensibilities that offers a rich bassline cut by a laid-back rap verse from Webmoms himself, the track taps into a soothing yet sultry musicality.

Swerving away from his signature lo-fi sound yet staying close to his raw DIY sensibilities, "Waiting,” sees the Cornwall-based musician finds his sound in the smooth blend of hip-hop and soul, with hints of jazz peeking through.

Born from a creative combination of lockdown-induced free time and increasing self-confidence in his artistry, the track which was written, produced, mixed and engineered by Webmoms, seeks to settle the multi-talented act into a comfortable nook in music, even as he refuses to be confined by genres.

The project of genre-hopping artist Karum Cooper, who has traversed several musical outfits as guitarist for critically acclaimed alt-rock band Hypophora, drummer in prog-rock outfit For The Oracle and bassist for pop artist Daisy Clark, has now established a name for himself as a solo act.

Now, familiarise hordes of music lovers with the name Webmoms, he has developed with an authentic blend of soundscapes with a minimalistic touch. Having hit his stride last year with his EP Ruchikar, this versatile artist stays far ahead in the musical game.
