With “Dreamland”, Rebounder creates a hopeful anthem all about ultimately realizing that you are where you are supposed to be in life. Sometimes we daydream and envision ourselves in another space but “Dreamland” chronicles those times when we end up understanding that sometimes the best place for us is the here and now. Lyrics including, “take me to dreamland / don’t think we will regret it / at least not in the present / heaven on demand,” show that Rebounder is ready for contentment and solace. Musically, “Dreamland” features elevated melodies, distorted psychedelic guitar riffs and bouncy basslines for an intoxicating listen. The upbeat and cathartic indie pop single is the perfect Spring anthem. The accompanying music video directed by Vogue Giambri shows the four guys enjoying a day at their friend’s apartment, performing in her yard, getting lunch and just having a fun all around time showing what it is like to hang endlessly in the city.
Rebounder was formed by four close childhood friends Dylan Chenfeld, Noah Chenfeld Cobey Arner and Zack Kantor in NYC. In 2020, the band released their debut EP Subway Songs to much acclaim. Since then the four-piece have opened for the likes of Phoenix, MUNA, The Neighbourhood and more, finding a dedicated fanbase drawn to their blissful indie rock releases and dynamic live show. “Dreamland” is off of their forthcoming EP. Check out the new music video now and remember to find your own euphoria.
