The trio of Delaware based emcee RU$H, Atlanta’s Tha God Fahim, and Jay Nice have teamed up for a forthcoming collaborative project and as they prepare for it, they share a new track “Kalamata Olives (Cest La Vie).”
The track is produced by Wolf Wilson (who produced the entire project) and flips a classic jazzy sample that serves as the perfect canvass for the emcees to paint luxurious and gritty images over. The rappers deliver more than a handful of vivid bars ranging from bravado lines like “You can settle for third, I’m taking first place/ Home runs and 4th base then I take the ledger weed and smoke it to the face” to reflective lyrics, “C’est la vie, it’s not what you make it it’s what you let it be.” Also joining the trio is Quelle Chris, who closes out the track with his laidback smooth flow.
