As a DJ and producer Porter has released records on various labels, and has played sets at elite venues in the UK, Marbella, Ibiza, Monaco, and Dubai. Alex Mills is not new to the game either and has lent her commanding vocals to tracks with Basement Jaxx, Hot Since 82, Sonny Fodera and trip-hop legend Tricky. To top it all up, she is an acclaimed DJ as well and has rocked venues such as the Brixton Academy, Sundown Festival, Studio 338 Lab 11, and many more.
Getting these two titans together is a no-brainer and the resulting record is a highly infectious tune ripe with hypnotic grooves, sultry melodies, and an overall energy that aims to keep the dance floor filled from top to bottom. The slow build-up is anchored by Mill’s soothing melodies that peaks close to the 2-minute mark when the drums come in and it’s fun from there on. From the bubbling bassline that drives the track to the crisp synth pads and head-nodding percussion-laden grooves, lovers of dance would surely revel in this brilliant piece.
